The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is a web-based information system that was deployed in 2003, in order to monitor and track F, M and J nonimmigrants and dependents throughout the duration of their approved exchange visitor program in the United States.

All candidates need to obtain a J-1 Visa in order to start their J-1 Internship or Trainee program in the United States. Being granted a J-1 Visa is a wonderful accomplishment that will embark applicants on a new journey and open lots of opportunities.
